As childcare providers parents place their trust in you to protect the precious lives of their little ones. However, accidents can and do happen, even in the safest and most prepared childcare businesses. So whether you are just starting out as a childcare provider or you are a seasoned provider, CPR and First Aid training is not only a good idea, it is required. NSTS classes are approved by the Iowa Department of Human Services and Iowa Child Care Resource as a provider of First Aid and CPR training. CPR and First Aid Training Opportunities

Adult CPR and AED

Learn how to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on adults in cardiac arrest. This course is recommended for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR skills.

Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED

Learn how to perform CPR on adults, infants, and children, including the use of AED and how to respond to choking emergencies. This course is recommended for parents, babysitters, and caregivers.

Standard First Aid/CPR/AED

Learn first aid care, such as treating fractures, head injuries, and allergic reactions. This course is recommended for anyone needing first aid skills for work or home. This class can be tailored to specific needs in the workplace and those who want to be prepared for more severe emergencies. We hold a special class to meet DHH requirements for childcare providers.

On-Site Training
